THE VACATION HOME
The INTERIOR is open-concept style on the main floor, plus a very large full bathroom. Three bedrooms, a full bathroom and an ensuite are located on the conventional second floor.
Top quality soundproofing material is between the two levels.
All natural wood walls and higher ceilings on both levels add to warmth and beauty throughout the space. Entertainment is enhanced by it being 'wired for sound' with Boston Acoustics speakers, and also has a home theatre system. Free secure WiFi and local telephone service is included.
THE KITCHEN FOR THE GOURMET CHEF
This large gourmet kitchen is fully equipped as seen on TV on OWN's ANNA & KRISTINA'S GROCERY BAGS in the final episode of their final season with a cameo appearance of CHEF JEREMY CHARLES of St. John's. Whether preparing a simple breakfast or a six course dinner, cooking in this kitchen is a delightful treat! Cookware and utensils are of high quality and extensive in numbers. There is lots of light, both natural and pot lighting, giving a pleasant ambience as you prepare the food. A large island in the centre of the kitchen means that many cooks can work together! Table service for up to twelve is available for your use!
When you are ready to eat, you need only go to the table in the dining area that opens onto the kitchen.
THE DINING AREA

The Family Room is the perfect room to gather to play games, watch movies, listen to music, read or just snuggle up in front of the fire. The double sided fireplace faces into this area, and also onto THE "INGLENOOK"
THE FAMILY ROOM
THE "“INGLENOOK” SIDE OF THE WOOD BURNING DOUBLE SIDED FIREPLACE
THE "INGLENOOK" is the NEWFOUNDLANDER name given to a MINI GREAT ROOM. It is situated at the front of the Harbour Side of the house. It is the idylllic place to sit and read, play chess or cribbage while in front of the firelace, yet able to gaze out over the Harbour on a whim, if one so desires!
MAIN FLOOR has a large bathroom with a two-person soaker tub, and a separate large shower. Also in this space is a full sized stackable washer/dryer that is behind a floral curtain. Hairdryer and toiletries provided. SECOND LEVEL has a two-piece Ensuite for the master bedroom. There is another two-piece (toilet and sink) for the other guests and a tub room in between the two bathrooms, which can be shared.
THE BATHROOMS
THE COMMANDER'S SUITE MASTER BEDROOM
QUEEN size bed with pillow top mattress, luxury linens and towels, fluffy bathrobes, two-piece Ensuite, hair dryer and toiletries provided. The 12 foot ceiling and a bell dormer give a feeling of spaciousness. The "retreat area" overlooks the Harbour, Fort Point, and the Lighthouse.
Ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms and in the Inglenook, accompanied by windows on two sides of every room /area in the house, give terrific cross ventilation and freshness from the sea air, thus making air conditioning unnecessary.
THE "SEASIDE SUITE" has views of the Harbour and Lighthouse out the front window, and equally special views of the Town from the side windows. As with the "Admiral's Suite" the linens, towels and bathrobes are all of luxurious quality. The mattress is a pillow top too! Ceiling fan and cross ventilation from the windows keeps the sea air circulating. and the room refreshed!
THE SEASIDE SUITE
The "Nautical Suite" carries the theme of lighthouses, ships, lifebouys, and anchors. From the side window there is a view of the lighthouse on Fort Point, and of the Town and Gun Hill from the other window. This room also has two twin beds with pillow top mattresses, and, as with the other two bedrooms, it also has luxurious linens, bedding, towels and bathrobes.

All bedrooms have ceiling fans and windows on two sides of each bedroom...
Nights cool off, sea breezes, no need for A/C.
