EXTERIOR OF

THE VACATION HOME

The EXTERIOR
This saltbox style house was built in 2010, after meeting the requirements of the Trinity Historical Society, by which its exterior appearance did indeed fit into the community and have the look of a traditional Newfoundland house from 100 years ago. The features that most guests will appreciate are the Deck, the Bell Dormer, and the Windows that afford unforgettable views all ’round.

THE WRAPAROUND DECK

COMMANDER’S KEEP has a huge wraparound deck that extends from the entire Sea Side of the house and around the south – southwest side of the house as well.  Since the house is perched on top of a cliff overlooking the harbour and the ocean beyond, one can almost have the sensation of being at sea as one stands and looks out over the Harbour.
There are heavy (so they won’t blow away) Muskoka chairs on the deck that are perfect for sitting and gazing out to sea as you sip on your evening cocktail.  Depending on your position on the deck, you can also have a bird’s eye view of the Town of Trinity, with Gun Hill as the backdrop. Be it a magenta sunrise or a firey sunset, or perhaps a magical moonrise over the Skerwink Headland….this is the place to be for the most mind boggling views that you will never forget!

THE VIEWS FROM ATOP

Broadening our scope of the EXTERIOR  of COMMANDER’S KEEP, allow us to show you views as seen from the deck, the windows, and on various locations of the property.
